Should you wish to sub contract with Liquid Friday, CIS gives you the freedom, flexibility and all the benefits of being self employed whilst working in the construction industry as well as the ability to be sub contracted to most UK construction companies and/or Agencies whilst working through your own CIS status.

There are a many advantages of being self-employed, such as a reduced NI contribution, and the ability to offset legitimate, allowable expenses against your tax liability on your Self Assessment tax return. You automatically receive the added advantage of being able to work on assignments for companies who will not contract with you directly.

We will discuss your contractual status with you for your current assignment to determine if Liquid Friday CIS is right for you. We will discuss the contractual terms and confirm that you are happy and satisfied with them. We'll then talk through the paperwork that needs to be completed and the registration process as we aim to make it as simple and straightforward as possible for you.

• Register online or download the registration forms - we cannot process any payment to you until we have received all your forms and verified you with the Inland Revenue.
• We will view your eligibility to work in the UK against the guidelines given to us by the Home Office. Please see 'Eligibility to work in the UK'.
• Send us a copy of your timesheet by Monday evening so that we can raise an invoice to the client. The earlier you send us your hours, the quicker we can get your invoice raised, the sooner YOU get paid!
• Once we have received confirmation from the client that the invoice is approved we will process your timesheet.
• With your authorisation we will send out a sms/text on the Wednesday evening confirming your net pay to be paid into your nominated bank account on the Friday.
• On receipt of funds from the Client, we will transfer your funds directly into your account.
• Your remittance advice will be emailed to you clearly stating the hours and rate that you worked.
• You will automatically be covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance as well as Combined Liability Insurance at no additional cost.
• Registering with Liquid Friday and becoming a CIS sub-contractor you can be assured that you will receive all the support necessary to retain the freedom and flexibility of being self-employed and working on your own CIS Status.
