10 years’ service for our payroll guru Lew!

This week we’re celebrating (there’s a buffet and everything) an amazing 10 years of service for Liquid Friday’s very own Head of Payroll – Lewis Gosling.

Lewis joined the business back in 2011 and it’s been a decade of steady career progression.

He began his Liquid Friday journey, like so many others, through the apprenticeship route, completing Business Admin Apprentice Level 2 & 3.

By 2013, Lewis had moved across to the Payroll Team, while keeping a clear customer service focus, completing his NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service.

He excelled in this role, taking on more responsibility and supporting management within the department.

2017 saw a side-step to the Finance Team for Lew, where he broadened his skills by working in credit control.

But it wasn’t long before he was back home in payroll!

Lewis took over the management of the Payroll Team in 2018 and has been a steady hand on the helm ever since, ensuring the delivery of quick efficient payroll with friendly, professional service.

Over to Lew!

“So much has happened over the last 10 years both in and outside of work! I’ve held 5 job roles, worked in 3 offices as Liquid Friday grew and bought and sold my first home.

I was welcomed into the LF family from day one and that family atmosphere is still as important today. There are so many happy memories from over the years to mention – from countless Christamas parties to random nights out. I feel very lucky to have made friends for life at Liquid Friday and I look forward to seeing what the next 10 years bring!”

“A real inspiration”

Joe Taffurelli, Head of Group Operations at Liquid Friday, was quick to pass on his congratulations to Lewis at reaching this brilliant milestone:

“I am so proud of everything Lewis has achieved, he really is a fantastic example of what can be achieved at Liquid Friday if you work hard. He is a real inspiration. I am excited to continue to work with Lewis and develop his own skills as well as those of his team. Well done Lewis and enjoy all of your success!”
