Barclays Bank Update – 03/02/2025

We have now had confirmation from Barclays that all payments have been processed. This has been ratified with contractors.

If you have been negatively affected by the outage?

Please remember, if you have been negatively affected by the outage and received any late payment charges etc Barclays have confirmed that they will “put every customer back to their original financial position”.

If you have incurred any loss due to this issue please contact us and provide evidence of any charges/ financial loss and we will liaise with Barclays.


Update – 09:37

On Friday Barclays experienced a complete system outage for the sending and receiving of payment details. Unfortunately no payments were issued by the bank.

Liquid Friday worked closely throughout the weekend to ensure payments were processed as quickly as possible.

Barclays confirmed on Sunday afternoon that payments were due to clear and that systems were restored.

Unfortunately, it appears that a small numbers of payments are still to be processed, We urgently contacted Barclays and they have confirmed that payments will be cleared by the end of today (Monday 3rd February 2025).
