Gender Pay Gap – how does Liquid Friday measure up?

Introduced in 2017, gender pay gap reporting has brought awareness and transparency to gender disparity and equality in the UK.

According to the CIPD, the gender pay gap in the UK currently stands at 15.4%. At Liquid Friday we are committed to doing our bit to close the gap by being a fair and inclusive employer.

Here we take a closer look at our latest gender pay gap data, which applies across both our internal and contractor employee workforce.

Our approach

At Liquid Friday we are incredibly proud of our diverse and talented workforce. We continually work to ensure all candidates applying for jobs are given equal chances and opportunities to succeed.

Ensuring that our contractors and head office team members receive equal pay for doing similar work will always remain a priority.

Gender Pay Gap Report – key results

Our latest gender pay gap report covers the period…

Our results show a clear pay gap in favour of our female staff. This is due to the nature of temporary assignments across the UK. A high proportion of our female contractor workforce work within the higher paid Social Care and Professional Services sectors, whereas the majority of male staff are engaged in Construction and Industrial roles which are generally lower paid.

  • At Liquid Friday, women earn £1 for every £1 that men earn when comparing median hourly pay
  • Women occupy 29% of the highest paid jobs and 13% of the lowest paid jobs
  • When comparing mean (average) bonus pay, women’s mean bonus pay is 40% higher than men’s
  • 96% of both men and women received a bonus
