If you need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue to live and work in the UK, you have until the 30th June to do so.
Who needs to apply?
If you are an EU citizen, resident in the UK by 31st December 2020, you and your family members must apply to the EU Settlement Scheme.
- Even if you have lived in the UK for many years or have a permanent residence document, you still need to apply.
- You do not need to apply if you have indefinite leave to remain or enter, or you are an Irish citizen.
- The online application checks your identity and UK residence, and asks you to declare any criminal convictions.
- If you have already applied and been granted pre-settled or settled status, you don’t need to apply again.
