Welcome Mike! Looking after our agencies in the North

A warm Liquid Friday welcome to Mike Rewilak, Business Development Manager, who joins our team out in the field looking after our agency clients in the North.

As a QBE / Part Qualified ACCA accountant, with a background in both practice and industry, Mike is no stranger to making sure the numbers add up!

He has worked in the contractor market since 1998 as Head of Tax and Accounting before moving into Sales and Key Account Management – and now he’s part of team green!

How have you found Liquid Friday so far?

“I could not have asked for a better start to my Liquid Friday career. Spending time with Sam (Pascoe, Commercial Director) and running through the systems and processes has been priceless.

I was given a very warm welcome from everybody at my induction at Portsmouth Head Office and was made to feel part of the Liquid Friday family from the moment I walked through the door.”

What do you think sets Liquid Friday apart?

“I think what really differentiates Liquid Friday in the market is its really strong ethos of integrity and professionalism.
That, and a laser-sharp focus on customer service across its wide range of contractor services and solutions.”

What are you most looking forward to in your new role?

“First I’d like to give a big thank you to everyone I spent time with during my induction week.

I’m looking forward to meeting and working closely with agency partners and developing strong relationships.

I can’t wait to welcome new agencies and consultants on board to benefit from the excellent range of products and services we can offer their contractors, and really demonstrating how Liquid Friday is the “one stop shop” for all their requirements.”

What do you like to do outside of work?

“I cherish spending time with family and I’m a keen golfer (working hard to lower my handicap!)

During the winter months I volunteer for a local homeless charity and have twice spent the night sleeping on the streets with just a sleeping bag and a piece of cardboard, to raise awareness and funds for homelessness.”

Give us one interesting fact about yourself!

“At the 2012 Olympic Games in London, I worked as a Ukrainian interpreter at the Excel Arena and saw all seven events held at the venue including the semi-finals and finals of the women’s, men’s and team table tennis competition, meeting the women’s Olympic Team champions, China and runners-up, Japan, after the medal ceremony. A fantastic memory to have!”
