A perfect 10 for Joe!

Earlier this month, our Director of Group Operations, Joe Taffurelli celebrated a superb 10 years at Liquid Friday.

Due to the recent sad events, this milestone anniversary passed quietly, but we wanted to take the opportunity now to thank Joe for his years of service to the company, and for the difference he makes every day.

About Joe

Joe’s Liquid Friday journey started back in 2012 when he was appointed Head of Employee Care and Compliance for the fast-growing business. Holding several senior managerial roles throughout his tenure, Joe was made Head of Group Operations in 2018. 

This role saw him come into his own, overseeing strategy and service provision across the Liquid Friday Group.

With his extensive expertise in logistics and operations, and experience in the umbrella industry, there was no better person to take a place on the board of Liquid Friday, and Joe was appointed Director of Group Operations in July this year. The role will see him working with Liquid Friday’s team of directors to shape, develop and execute the business’s upcoming strategies.

Speaking at the time of Joe’s appointment to the board, Liquid Friday’s CEO Colin Gunnell said:

“Joe is massively talented, a proven leader who fully understands the complexities of our industry. I am confident that his insights and ability to drive results will be invaluable to Liquid Friday as we move forward with our plans for growth.”

Joe is passionate about driving home all that is great about Liquid Friday; its exceptional service, industry knowledge, forward thinking attitude and amazing people.

A graduate of University of Portsmouth, in recent years Joe has sat on the board of the FCSA  and is currently back at his alma mater working towards his MBA (no, we don’t know where he finds the time either)

Married to hubby Matt, with boisterous labrador Archie at home, Joe loves spending time with friends and family and is always looking forward to the next well-earned holiday!
