Ever been caught in the 8am scramble for a GP appointment, only to find there are 15 callers ahead of you in the queue? 

It’s a frustration that many of us have experienced. The average waiting time for a non-urgent, face-to-face NHS GP appointment stands at 10 days, with a wait of 8 days for remote appointments.

Our NHS, and those who work within it, are amazing, but in crisis. Pressure on public health services is greater now than even during the pandemic. It’s a worry for everyone, even more so if you are a parent, or vulnerable. 

These concerns, along with mounting difficulty in getting local GP appointments have driven an increase in private virtual GP services, especially since covid, with most providers offering a 24/7, 365 day service. 

Virtual GP appointments can be obtained much faster than normal GP appointments, usually within 24 hours. You will need our policy number which the Liquid Friday team will be able to provide you with. Once that’s done it is really easy to book either a phone or video consultation.
